Hi to all the kiting ladies out there!

WAChickKiters Network (WACK!) is kicking off for 2009/2010, and again this year we are having a social and kiting event from 2pm on the second Sunday of each month of the season.

Just as a bit of background, these are casual BYO kiteboarding events designed as a forum for our enthusiastic but minority gender in this fantastic sport to get together both on and off the water, and is suitable for all levels of kiters- we all know what it was like to be starting out! Even if the wind god is not smiling on us, we usually have some no wind activities planned, so come along and join a great bunch of like minded women.

Our events rotate around the major accessible beaches in the Perth Metro area (with some events a bit further afield!), which gives you a chance to check out new spots, with the security of knowing there are some friendly female faces and advice around.

We aim to provide some shade, a cold eski, and some local beach advice at each event, as well as a good excuse to get together with some of the other brilliant women who are also addicted to kiteboarding.

You just need to bring food, drink, gear, and a desire to be a part of a growing and dynamic network of kiting chicks! You can also bring along kids and partners who are happy to support their girls!
